The opportunityWe are looking for an R&D Project Manager to join our Technology & Solutions Development (Business R&D) organization in HVDC at Hitachi Energy in Sweden. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a talented team of engineers and lead R&D projects focusing on the development of innovative solutions for HVDC applications.HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is an enabler for renewable energy integration, supporting future energy transition for a sustainable future. Please find out more about our world-leading technology at www.hitachienergy.com/HVDC.You will join a global and dynamic team of 20+ R&D Project Managers mainly based in Sweden, Poland, and India.This position will be based in Ludvika or Västerås.How You Will Make An ImpactSet up and execute R&D projects together with your project team in alignment with our R&D portfolio management.Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and resource plans, perform risk analysis, and monitor the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets.Proactively work with the team to identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with the implementation of new solutions. Develop risk management plans and strategies to respond to risks as they arise.Drive requirements analysis, pre-studies, solution development, and documentation of results in the projects.As an R&D Project Manager, you will be a part of the R&D Project Management Office.
