SummaryTo support the business within a country with complex analysis, reporting, forecasts etc. (typically very large to large revenue) and provide expert advice within a core FSC process/ area/ technologyThis is a 12 months contractAbout The RoleFixed term ContractKey ResponsibilitiesEnd to end calculation and reporting for government rebates. Manage and operate the basic reporting processes for actuals to agreed quality and fast close timeline.Manage and automate the provision of routine information to local users from SAP and BW, and perform ‘super user’ responsibilities for Finance and Controlling modules in SAP.Supervise the development and maintenance of current reporting systems (SAP, BW, Excel); integrate other requirements and the changing needs of the organization so that processes to report actuals, are met cost effectively and responsively.Preparation and submission of government reporting's. Prepares ad-hoc and routine ‘accounting / management’ information and quality financial analysis in order to support global and organization’s requirements.End to end calculation and management of government rebates and outcome-based accounting - accruals and analysis of actuals. Direct and indirect management of onshore and offshore R2R team ensuring productivity, quality, and customer-service standards are metResponsible for documenting, communicating and coordinating Technical Accounting matters both with the regional FRA Technical Accounting team and commercial organizations (country CFOs), and with partners outside the commercial organization including other Novartis Business Units, Financial Service Centers, Novartis Corporate Center (NOCC), Financial Controls and Compliance (FC&C) and external auditorsPrepares ad-hoc and routine ‘accounting / management’ information and quality financial analysis in order to support global and organization’s requirements.Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)Essential RequirementsUniversity degree in Accounting or Finance.Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA is a strong advantage.Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial reporting.Proven experience in operations management and execution.Strong analytical and communication skills.Why Novartis: Helping people with disease and their families takes more than innovative science.
