We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Accommodation Supervisor to lead the camp services segment of a key contract. This role is responsible for managing a wide range of support services including laundry, landscaping, cleaning and janitorial services, pest and vector control, and overall life support within the project team camp. This role is based at our client’s headquarters and will ensure all services are delivered efficiently, meet client requirements, and exceed stakeholder expectations.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesManage the delivery of all camp services, including laundry services, landscaping, cleaning and janitorial services, pest and vector control, and general life support camp management. Ensure compliance with client requirements and standards, maintaining high levels of quality. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met, addressing any issues promptly. Supervise and manage a team of service supervisors across 18 locations, ensuring staff performing their duties effectively. Provide training and development for staff to enhance their skills and improve service delivery. Monitor and evaluate departmental staff performance, providing feedback and taking corrective actions when necessary.
Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure services meet required standards. Conduct regular audits to identify and address any issues or areas for improvement. Ensure response to emergencies and special events requiring additional cleaning or services. Ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available and properly maintained. Manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources with high service standards. Maintain accurate records of inventory and ensure timely replenishment of supplies. Prepare regular reports on service delivery, staff performance, and contract compliance.
Document and report any incidents, including service failures, safety issues, or stakeholder complaints, and follow up on corrective actions. Apply plans for continuous service improvement, from feedback reporting and performance. Ensure all camp services comply with health and safety regulations and standards. Identify potential risks in service delivery and implement measures to mitigate them. Provide HSE training for staff, ensuring they understand and follow safety protocols. Address and respond to customer service requests, ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Collect and analyse feedback from stakeholders to improve service delivery. Handle conflicts or complaints professionally and effectively, ensuring a positive resolution.
Review and optimize service delivery processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement sustainable practices in service delivery, promoting environmental responsibility. Qualifications & Requirements: University degree in hotel management, business administration, or a related field. At least 7 years of experience in customer service, housekeeping, and camp management services. Experience working with international organizations is preferred. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
