The Company3B Pharmaceuticals GmbH is a pharmaceutical biotechnology company, a leader in the discovery and optimization of peptides for the development of tumor-targeted radiopharmaceuticals. Our aim is to treat and diagnose cancers that are currently difficult to address. 3BP’s expertise ranges from substance identification to early clinical development.3BP’s interdisciplinary Radiopharmaceutical Technologies team is responsible for the development of novel radiolabeling methods for proprietary compounds. These radiolabeled compounds are then used internally for in vitro and in vivo assays. Furthermore, the radiolabeling methods are made available to external partners for further compound characterization.We are currently expanding our discovery and clinical activities and are looking for an open-minded Radiochemist to support and shape 3BP’s programs.TasksHands-on optimization of radiolabeling reactions as well as routine radiolabeling reactions including purification and analysis of radiopharmaceutical compounds Hands-on design of sophisticated radioactive experiments to address (radio)chemical questions especially in the field of alpha emitter applicationsHands-on development and execution of assays using radiation measurement instruments (e.g. gamma and scintillation counters)Train and mentor junior staff members on radiochemical techniques, safety procedures, and operational best practicesRadiochemical support for radiolabeling reactions at external sidesData processing, in-depth analysis and documentationGeneration and management of project plans and timelinesPreparation of reports and presentations for internal and external eventsStay informed about advancements in radiochemistry technology and contribute to the continuous improvement of 3BP’s processes and programsRequirementsMaster's degree or PhD in Chemistry, Radiochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related fieldProven experience in radiochemical synthesis, purification, and analysis, preferably in a pharmaceutical or radiopharmaceutical settingCandidate should have a strong scientific drive and self-learning capacity Candidate should thrive in an open-minded environment and should be passionate about proposing and experimentally verifying hypothesesHigh degree of initiative, accountability and control over their own day-to-day activities is requiredStrong interest in interdisciplinary team work with collaborative and open-minded style that fosters a supportive working environmentAbility and willingness to establish and build internal and external relationships at all levelsProficient written and spoken English communication skills, German skills are highly desiredBenefitsA meaningful, multifaceted job in a motivated, supportive teamIndependent work in an innovative environment where each individual can achieve visible resultsAn open and appreciative corporate culture with a strong team spirit A wide range of opportunities to help shape a growing companyOpportunities for personal development Flexible working time models and a permanent positionA very well-equipped, modern working environmentAllowance for job ticket/bicycle, Urban Sports Club and language lessonsThe position is based in Berlin-Adlershof.
