Job SummaryJob DescriptionWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The Avion Delivery team is undertaking multiple complex enterprise-wide initiatives as part of RBC’s ongoing plan to Enhance the Avion platform and improve member acquisition and engagement. In this role you will be responsible for leading a multi disciplined agile squad in delivering upon the ambitious product roadmap. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Supporting the team in achieving the sprint goals and removing any impediments that hinder progress.

Promote collaboration among cross-functional team members, including developers, business analysts, UX designers, and architects. Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and meets the definition of ready. Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on team performance and delivery timelines. Apply change and risk management principles to ensure the team can adapt to evolving business needs and priorities. Proactively identify risks and dependencies, working with the team and stakeholders to mitigate them effectively. Facilitate big room planning sessions and other collaborative events to align multiple teams on shared goals.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?Must have: Minimum 5 years proven experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and Kanban practices. Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with team members and stakeholders effectively. Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate complex organizational structures.
