Job Description

Summary: Operations Head is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of a company and ensuring efficient and effective processes of operations department to achieve business goals and objectives. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of Operations DepartmentOversees the preparation of loan portfolio reports for both internal (BOD/Management) and external (regulatory bodies) users & documentation activities. Actively participates in business planning, prepare projections and assists the President in obtaining approval for the company’s annual budget. Works with all other Units of the company to achieve established goals and objectives for each year.

Develops policies and guidelines that will strengthen internal control, improve and enhance operation processes and minimize cost. Recommends changes, enhancements and improvement of existing processes and obtain approval for its implementation. Liaises with and provide assistance to internal and external auditors/examiners. Works closely with the Compliance Head and Audit Head to ensure compliance with tax laws and other regulatory requirements. Coordinates with Controllership and Corporate Planning Divisions of the Parent Bank for reportorial requirements.

Approver of loan/lease releases, Statement of Account (SOA) and Journal Vouchers (JVs) for uploading to Oracle (Loan related transactions), regulatory reports and other operation reports. Assess and identify appropriate training for supervised personnel to enhance professional development.
