We are always looking for bright additions to our team, so join us as we reimagine hospitality for the next generation traveler.What does it take?The Real Estate Acquisition role focuses on sourcing deals and building relationships to expand Wayfarer's footprint across Japan. You will be a front-line representative of Wayfarer in the real estate market.You have solid experience in real estate transactions, particularly with entire buildings rather than unit-by-unit deals.You thrive on building long-term relationships and have a strong network of property owners, developers, and brokersYou are a persuasive communicator who understands market incentives and can identify win-win solutionsYou have the tenacity to navigate ambiguity and drive deals to closureYou’re energized by fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments where initiative is valuedWhat will you do?Source off-market hotel and hospitality real estate opportunities across JapanBuild relationships with sellers, brokers, developers, and ownersRepresent Wayfarer’s brand and vision credibly and creativelyIdentify opportunities aligned with Wayfarer’s hotel management and operating modelsMaintain a steady pipeline of opportunities and keep internal records updatedCoordinate with the Analyst and VP of Real Estate to evaluate and advance leadsRequirements3+ years of experience in building-level real estate sales (hospitality, commercial, or multi-family)Fluent in Japanese, with a good command of business EnglishExisting network in Japan’s real estate sectorOrganized and self-motivated with a deal-closing mindsetBased in Japan (Tokyo or Osaka preferred)
