The RoleAs Director of Business Development, you’ll lead the charge on revenue growth - taking full ownership of strategic new business and high-value enterprise opportunities. This is a commercially focused, hands-on leadership role reporting directly to leadership. You’ll be responsible for the entire sales cycle - from marketing and partner-driven lead generation through to closing complex, consultative deals.

This role is about more than just selling - it’s about positioning the business as a long-term, strategic partner to clients, and delivering transformative solutions across customer intelligence and marketing technology. Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute a high-growth sales strategy with a target to exceed £10m+ in annual revenue. Own the end-to-end sales process - from initial outreach to closing, aligned to business objectives. Build and maintain C-level relationships, focusing on long-term value creation. Sell integrated martech and customer intelligence solutions, not siloed services. Represent the business within the EMEA partner ecosystem (Salesforce, Sitecore, TreasureData, etc.

), building visibility and driving strategic alliances. Lead new business development efforts across enterprise clients, securing net-new logos. Work closely with internal delivery and strategy teams to develop data-led, outcome-driven proposals. Position the business as a thought leader through active participation in events, partnerships, and strategic content initiatives. Skills and ExperienceTo thrive in this role, you'll bring: Enterprise sales leadership - A strong track record in business development within martech, customer intelligence, or consultancy environments. Consultative sales experience - Proven ability to sell complex, high-value solutions tailored to business transformation goals, not just off-the-shelf tech.

C-suite engagement - Experience navigating multi-stakeholder, enterprise-level deals, and building long-term trust at senior levels. Commercial mindset – Confident in delivering aggressive targets while balancing long-term strategic growth. Martech and data expertise - Strong grounding in platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CDPs (e. g. TreasureData), and customer intelligence tools. Partner-led selling experience - Understanding of how to leverage and grow relationships within key platform and consultancy partnerships. Client-centric approach - A natural problem-solver who uncovers client challenges and builds compelling, customised solutions that deliver measurable impact.
