Job Title: Guest Services AgentLocation: New York, NY - On-Site, In Person Position - The Smyth TribecaJob Summary: The Guest Services Agent at the Smyth Tribeca is the first point of contact for our Guests, setting the tone for their entire stay. The Agent delivers a warm, personalized, and seamless check-in and check-out experience while upholding the highest standards of hospitality and discretion. The role is critical in creating lasting impressions and exceeding Guest expectations at every touchpoint.

Job Duties And FunctionsGreet Guests with genuine warmth and professionalism upon arrivalPerform all check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accuratelyHandle Guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and effectivelyMaintain a strong knowledge of hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and dining options to offer personalized recommendationsCommunicate effectively with all departments to ensure Guest needs are met seamlesslyProcess payments and manage billing in accordance with hotel policiesMaintain the front desk area and lobby in pristine conditionAssist with concierge services, transportation arrangements, and special requestsUphold the confidentiality and privacy of all Guests and their informationAnticipate Guest needs and proactively address them to enhance the overall experienceHandle VIP Guests and special accommodations with the utmost attention to detail and discretionRequired Skills, Experience And KnowledgeHigh School Diplomas or GEDMinimum of 1 year experience in a front desk or Guest-facing role, preferably in a luxury or boutique hotel environmentExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsStrong organizational abilities and attention to detailProficiency with property management systems (PMS); knowledge of Opera or similar systems a plusAbility to multitask in a high-pressure environment while maintaining poise and professionalismAvailability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidaysA polished appearance and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional Guest serviceWorking Conditions / EnvironmentThe following outlines the work environment employees will encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.
