The role requires strong attention to detail, ownership of receiving processes, and seamless collaboration with inventory, quality, and production teams.About This RoleReceive and inspect incoming shipments for conformity to purchase orders and quality standardsBook received goods into ERP (NetSuite preferred) with accuracy and traceabilityFlag discrepancies or damages and coordinate with procurement and quality teamsMaintain real-time accuracy of physical and digital inventory recordsConduct weekly cycle counts and assist with audits as neededProactively identify and flag inventory shortages or overages to planning/procurementIssue parts and materials to production as per work ordersKit assemblies and prepare them for delivery to build stationsOperate MHE (e.g., forklifts) to transport and store materials safelyMaintain clean, orderly, and well-organized cage and warehouse areasSupport layout improvements, FIFO adherence, and warehouse flow optimizationMust Haves4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or aerospace warehouse environmentERP or MRP system experience (NetSuite preferred)Inventory and warehouse management experienceWork order management and kitting experienceFamiliarity with digital tools used in warehouse or production settingsForklift certificationDetail-oriented, safety-focused, proactive, and reliable with a willingness to learnNice To HavesForklift Class 3 licenseExposure to manufacturing planning processesFamiliarity with barcode labeling toolsKnowledge of Lean 5S, warehouse Kaizen, or continuous improvementBasic understanding of QA/QC protocols for hardware or electronicsFamiliarity with manufacturing and space-related protocolsUnderstanding of UAE warehouse regulatory normsOrbitworks’ mission is to make space simple for organizations that want to deploy physical and virtual missions to space.
