Novotel’s contemporary boardroom offers providing a discreet and convenient location.Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a confident and customer-focused Receptionist to join our Front Office team. As the welcoming face of the hotel, you’ll ensure every guest enjoys a smooth and memorable experience from arrival through to departure.Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you’ll assist with check-ins and check-outs, handle guest queries, and provide information and support throughout their stay.What You’ll DoWelcome guests from around the world with warmth and professionalismManage check-in and check-out processes accurately and efficientlyHandle payments, guest information, and reservations with attention to detailRespond to guest queries and requests, providing local knowledge and solutionsPromote hotel facilities and loyalty programmes to enhance guest experience and satisfactionWork closely with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Reservations to ensure smooth daily operationsSafely manage guest property and maintain correct documentation and storage proceduresUphold brand standards, presentation, and service expectations at all timesThis part-time position offers a minimum of 16 hours per week and a pay rate of $26.28 per hour. Flexibility is important, as shifts are rostered across mornings, afternoons, weekends and public holidays.If you take pride in delivering great service and want to be part of a supportive and dynamic team, we’d love to hear from you.QualificationsPrevious experience in a front office, reception, or customer service role (hotel experience highly regarded)Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash and guest informationConfidence using computer systems and the ability to learn new software quicklyA team player with a positive attitude and passion for hospitalityFlexibility to work a rotating 7-day roster, including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and public holidaysA current New Zealand Restricted or Full Drivers licenceYou will have NZ residency or be holding a permanent NZ work visa.
