Job SummaryThe Receptionist is critical in creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all clients and visitors. Theyare responsible for greeting, welcoming, and directing individuals from diverse backgrounds and ensuring theirneeds are met. In addition to providing administrative support to clinical and administrative departments, theReceptionist also contributes to our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by fostering an environmenthere everyone feels valued and respected. The Receptionist's hours are Monday 3:45-6 and Tuesday 3:45-8 withthe possibility of more hours and shifts in the future.Duties And ResponsibilitiesAnswer the telephone, screen, and direct calls.Take and relay messages.Provide information to callers.Greet clients, their families, and visitors entering CCGC.Notifies appropriate parties of their appointment arrivals via phone call and Credible.Respond to or direct queries from the public and consumers.Has knowledge of staff movements in and out of CCGC.Tidy and maintain waiting room.Monitor visitors access and maintain security awareness by assuring visitors sign in, receive their visitors badge.Posts outgoing mail and distributes all incoming mail.Collects payments whenever indicated.Collects incoming fax and assures proper recipients are notified.Provide administrative support to all departments as requested.Provides and collects all required surveys.Provides ongoing and as required administrative support to clinical and administrative departments (examples: Review of notes, intakes and discharges, copies, etc.).Manages Psychiatrist schedule(s).Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor.QualificationsKnowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, High School Diploma required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Must be reliable and have the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Bilingual candidates preferred; all candidates considered.Licensure/CertificationN/A
