As more launch vehicles come online and the cost to orbit decreases, more companies launching payloads to space continue to emerge.For the first time in history, this influx of payload companies combined with reduced launch costs has resulted in a massive increase in need for commercial spacecraft platforms, known as satellite buses. These buses hold the payloads of our customers and are flown on launch vehicles.Apex manufactures these satellite buses at scale using a combination of software, vertical integration, and hardware that is designed for manufacturing. Our spacecraft enable the future of society: ranging from earth observation to communications and more.We’d love for you to join us on our mission of providing humankind access to the galaxy beyond our planet.About The RoleWe are looking for a contract Recruiting Coordinator to join our team (contract to perm opportunity).Responsibilities Deliver best-in-class candidate experiences by managing all aspects of interview coordination, including scheduling, confirmations, reschedules, and feedback loops for both virtual and onsite interviews. Serve as the point of contact for candidates during their onsite experience—including scheduling, travel, and logistics. Conduct engaging tours when appropriate. Partner closely with recruiters and cross-functional teams in Facilities, People Operations, and IT to keep hiring workflows smooth and aligned Help keep our careers page fresh and accurate—especially when it comes to technical roles Identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and execute change to help us achieve our ambitious hiring targets Pitch in on recruiting projects that help us work smarter, move faster, and improve the experience for everyone; this may include improving job posts, working on marketing initiatives, or managing internship programs.RequirementsU.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data.3-5 years of experience in recruiting coordination and interview scheduling. Experience with an applicant tracking system. AshbyExperience with Office 365/OutlookAbility to be organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced work environment. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and navigate sensitive information with tact.
