Role Overview: To assist in the real-time coordination of ground handling and passenger service activities at designated airport or marine terminals in line with TRSASC’s certified operations under GACAR Part 151.
The coordinator, Airport, supports the Supervisor in executing safe, on-time, and guest-focused services across all touchpoints, including boarding zones, baggage staging, check-in areas, and marine transfers. Job Responsibilities: Embed The Red Sea Air Services Company Health and Safety culture. Must have full knowledge of the Emergency Response Plan by action and structure of the plan. Coordinate real-time guest flow at check-in, boarding, and transport handover points, both airside and landside. Monitor and communicate status of aircraft arrival/departure, terminal readiness, and baggage transfer activities. Escort guests to/from the aircraft or marine vessels, ensuring manifest validation and baggage match.
Maintain readiness and cleanliness of check-in counters, signage, waiting lounges, and boarding zones. Assist with on-site troubleshooting of guest complaints, baggage discrepancies, or transport delays. Provide regular updates to the Supervisor – Airport Coordinator and escalate any disruptions promptly. Ensure uniform standards, PPE usage, and safety protocols are followed by all team members within designated zones. Act as a liaison with resort staff, dispatchers, marine logistics personnel, and ramp agents during operational windows. Support the implementation of guest communication procedures and pre-boarding briefings when required. Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks including checklist completion, baggage documentation, and passenger log updates.
Ensure 100% accuracy in guest movement coordination, from check-in through to boarding, with no manifest discrepancies. Conduct pre-shift zone inspections for boarding areas, signage, and guest waiting facilities; ensure all are operational before first flight. Maintain constant radio or system updates to the Supervisor and other departments; all updates must be timely and precise. Ensure guests are welcomed, briefed, and escorted as per SOP; provide personalized service, especially for VIP, PRM, or group travelers. Maintain full compliance with uniform and grooming standards at all times and ensure team appearance reflects TRSASC service expectations.
Enforce airside/passenger safety zones and ensure 100% usage of PPE in accordance with ground handling and marine transport safety rules. Provide on-site assistance during operational delays; escalate any issues (baggage delay, weather-related changes) within 15 minutes of detection. Complete assigned logs (boarding lists, baggage transfer sheets, checklists) with 100% accuracy and handover to supervisor at end-of-shift. Assist in coordination with ramp, passenger services, and marine operations teams; act as the primary on-ground point of contact during movement windows. Follow all procedures outlined in the Ground Operations Manual with zero procedural violations during any operation. Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 3 years of experience in aviation, marine, or hospitality operations in a guest-facing position. Good working knowledge of all Passenger Services functions and the airline industry. Excellent command of the English language. Arabic language will be an advantage. Computer literate (Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent communication skills. Capacity to remain very discreet and maintain confidentiality while handling a sensitive subject. Ability to work under pressure and multitask. Excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic. A proven ability in problem-solving and decision-making experienceAbility to convey clearly information and ideas.
Comprehend and perform basic mathematical operations. Self-motivated. Must be willing to travel among outstations. Medically fit for duty in high-activity, outdoor, and marine-accessed environments. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays. Flexible and mobile to work at different operational locations, including jetties, terminals, orresorts.
