We are assisting in their search for an experienced Global Biofuel Desk Head to join their team and play a pivotal role in driving the growth of their biofuels division.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated individual to contribute to a dynamic trading environment. Key Responsibilities / TasksDirect, execute, and manage the physical trading efforts of the business across global markets while maintaining the client's already developed European business. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, refineries, and customers within the biofuels markets across ethanol, HVO, SAF and other similar products. Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and regulatory changes to identify profitable trading opportunities. Manage risk exposure, including market, credit, and operational risks, using hedging strategies.
Work closely with the Directorial team to develop and implement the company’s strategy for biofuels trading in the region. Key Qualifications / Experience 10+ Years of proven experience in Biofuels and/or Biodiesel trading within the European or global markets, ideally with a focus on Monaco or surrounding regions. Strong track record of managing physical back-to-back trading in biofuel and understanding of related financial instruments. Expertise in risk management strategies, including hedging and exposure management within the Biofuels or Biodiesel marketsExisting relationships with key producers, refineries, and buyers within the Biofuels industry.
Demonstrated ability to analyse market trends and execute profitable trades in a fast-paced environment.
