Packaging Designer – Print & Digital Annual Salary: £40,000Location: Manchester – HybridJob Type: Temporary – Possibility of going PermanentWe are seeking a talented and experienced Designer to join a dynamic team within a successful B2C business on a temporary basis. This role requires a creative individual who is comfortable managing the entire print and packaging process from brief to completion. You will work closely with the Design Manager and Marketing team to produce a wide range of brand-consistent communication materials for both print and digital media. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Collaborate with Design Manager and Marketing team to meet the company's design needs.
Manage multiple design projects from concept through completion. Ensure all designs are consistent with brand guidelines and meet company standards. Comfortably switch between print and digital media projects. Create packaging artwork and ensure it is prepared for various printing processes, including Litho and Flexo. Assist in other creative tasks such as video editing and photography as needed. Required Skills:
Proven experience as a artworker/designer/packaging designerPreferably have packaging experience working on consumer products – desirableMust have experience of setting print artwork for different print processes using Litho & Flexo is EssentialPossess a strong packaging background – with a strong portfolio to showcase your skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure. Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail and a completionist attitude. Strong presentation skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment across multiple brands. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with wider teams.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft 365 – EssentialExperience in creating packaging artwork is essential. Video editing and photography skills are desirable but not essential.
