Refrigeration Foreman - Goldi

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on the ammonia refrigeration.Plants and equipment (Mechanical & Electrical).• Attend to breakdowns on plant and equipment.• Training of artisans and operators to run an efficient and safe refrigeration plant.• Ensure plants and refrigeration equipment are properly and safely maintained.• Ensure air compressors and receivers are properly and safely maintained.• Issue and close out work permits.• Identifying critical spares requirements.• Work closely with major suppliers and manage SLAs• Site water chlorination maintenance.• Compliance with the requirements of the OHSACT.The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:• Must be a qualified Electrician with 10 years working experience in poultry industry.• 5 years working experience on instrumentation and PLCs.• 5 years supervision experience in planned routine and preventative maintenance. (Foreman level)• Experience in the safe operation of ammonia plants (CAT B8 registered preferred)• Experience in the Food Processing Industry would be an added advantage;• Must be computer literate and have good communication skills;• Must be self-disciplined and self-motivated;• Must be able to work overtime, weekends and public holidays if necessary.StandertonPublished Date: 27 November 2025Closing Date: 04 December 2025
