Refrigeration Technician

We are hiring for a Semiskilled Refrigeration Technician who will be responsible for repairs and breakdowns in the Services Business Unit.Skills & AbilitiesRefrigeration, mechanical and electrical aptitude.Ability to work in factory environments.Ability to work independently.Works under pressure.Attention to detail is essential.Team playerResponsibilities & DutiesComplete required service reports and communicate to relevant persons.Communicate field service activities with the Service TechnicianInstallation, service and repair of refrigeration air conditioning, and all associated tasks thereof.Overall understanding Industrial Air conditionersGood working knowledge of intercoolers and heat exchangersUnderstand customer requirements and provide most cost-effective solution from Rubicon.Coordinate and work well with Service PartnersOther duties as may be requested from time to time.Qualifications & ExperienceMatric (Grade 12)In possession of a Refrigeration QualificationMinimum 1 years’ experience in relevant fieldWorking knowledge of refrigeration products is required.Experience using electrical meters and troubleshooting.Previous field service experience preferred.Possess a valid driver’s licenceAbout Rubicon Industrial TechnologyADVANCING INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGYWe are the leading industrial automation solutions supplier to the manufacturing sector and related system integrators in South Africa.
