A leading global company in the Genomics & Diagnostics field is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth and customer engagement across Indonesia. The organization focuses on advancing clinical and applied genomics through innovative molecular platforms that support healthcare and precision medicine worldwide.About the Role This is a customer-facing position responsible for sales of capital equipment and consumables, as well as strategic account development across target markets. The role reports directly to the Regional Manager for ANZ/SEA.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients in clinical diagnostics, pathology, academia, and applied genomics sectors.Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.Conduct market visits, understand customer needs, and propose suitable product solutions.Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting to closing — and maintain accurate CRM records.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical, applications, marketing) to support customer requirements.Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and scientific symposia.Prepare timely sales forecasts and regional activity reports.Contribute to marketing initiatives and application development projects.QualificationsBachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry.Familiar with molecular platforms and laboratory workflows.8+ years of sales experience within Clinical Diagnostics, Pathology, Academia, or Applied Genomics industries.Proven track record in capital equipment sales, ideally with analytical or sequencing systems.Strong preference for experience in Clinical Diagnostics and/or Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS).Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.Strong analytical thinking and solution-oriented mindset.Independent, self-driven, and adaptable to fast-paced environments.Willingness to travel frequently across Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines.
