JOB PURPOSE:Develop and implement effective sales strategies for Air India's operations in assigned international markets, optimizing revenue and expanding market share while aligning with the company’s broader commercial objectives. Drive business growth and expansion initiatives within the region allocated for Air India. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships, enhancing Air India's market presence and competitiveness in the region. Ensure effective coordination and collaboration with internal sales teams along with sales performance and sales strategy team to meet business objectives in the international market.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and implement business process improvements, systems enhancements, and operational efficienciesKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Business Analyst Conduct comprehensive analysis of current Sales & Distribution operations, identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectivenessCollaborate with stakeholders, including Sales Leads, D&T teams, and other business units, to gather requirements, document business processes, and define project scope and objectivesPerform data analysis, develop models, and create insightful reports to support decision-making processes and drive operational improvementsIdentify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and performance metrics to monitor and measure the success of implemented initiativesCollaborate with D&T teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring seamless integration of systems and technology solutionsConduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, and risk assessments to evaluate potential projects and provide recommendations to managementStay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in S&D operations to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovationStrategy Development & Product Positioning Develop tailored sales strategies to maximize revenue and ensure competitive advantage. Effectively position Air India’s offerings in international markets, considering local consumer behavior and competitive landscapes.Collaboration Work closely with local and regional sales teams to ensure strategic initiatives are well understood, effectively implemented, and clearly communicated to trade and corporate partners. Partner with Sales Strategy, Sales Performance Management, and Revenue Management teams to define KPIs, validate incentive payments, and identify market opportunities to boost revenue. Collaborate with regional teams to enhance sales processes through Salesforce adoption and automation, improving efficiency and data-driven decision-making. Support sales teams in identifying and executing targeted initiatives to capture market opportunities and improve performance at assigned Points of SaleAny other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone program or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
