About The TeamThe Operation teams cover the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. It comprises various functions: Customer Service, Return & Refunds, Listings, Fraud, Seller Ops, Payments, Logistics and Warehouse.The FP&A team within Regional Operations owns reporting, monitoring, analysis, and optimization of key cost KPIs and headcount across:Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines) East Asia (Taiwan, China, Korea, Japan)Latin America (Brazil)Job DescriptionAnalyse cost trends across various markets to develop valuable actionable insights for management reporting to C-suite leaders, for decision making on strategic goalsRun monthly cost and headcount reporting cadencesDrive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline business processes for cost optimisation, value creation and process efficiency enhancementConduct comprehensive research and analysis of business trends, industry benchmarks and competitive landscapeBuild and maintain strategic relationships with a variety of different stakeholders from both Regional and Local teams, including functional leaders, process owners and management teamsBuild lightweight Python/SQL pipelines (API connectors + queries) to extract and consolidate data from multiple independent systemsRequirementsBachelor’s in Finance, Accountancy, Analytics, Data Science or related fields0-2 years of experience in strategy, financial planning and analysis, accounting analytics, reporting, preferably in the e-commerce, logistics, consulting or related industriesDetail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlinesStrong team player, with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present financial information to stakeholdersStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerpointBasic application knowledge of SQL is required, basic Python would be an advantage
