The successful incumbent will be expected to be results-driven and to live these values daily.About the Role:As the Regional Logistics Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing and managing the logistics and procurement functions for our regions. You will support the day-to-day operational requirements across property management, customer services, uniform & equipment management, supplier relations, and other departmental needs. This role ensures compliance with BBBEE and G4S policies and procedures. You will report directly to the National Logistics & Procurement Manager for South Africa.Key Responsibilities Include:Effective ERP/Purchasing Administration, Financial Cost Controls & ComplianceEffective Management of Contractors, Vendors, and SuppliersEffective Management and Control of Uniform, Inventory, and ConsumablesEffective Management and Control of Regional VehiclesEffective Property ManagementTenders, New Site Start-Ups, and Site TerminationsManagement of Regional Office and Employee RequirementsEffective Management and Control of Regional and Site AssetsHead Office Projects and AssistanceAdministration of IT Equipment and Employee Tools of Trade:Internal and External AuditsPeople Management and DevelopmentHealth and Safety ComplianceMinimum Requirements:Grade 12 / Matric EquivalentRelevant Tertiary Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, etc.Minimum 5 years of Managerial experience (in a Logistics function) is advantageousKnowledge of BBBEE Act, requirements, and compliance is advantageousFleet Operations, Procurement, and Management Experience is essentialOwn vehicle advantageousSkills and Attributes:Computer Literate (MS Office & ChromeOS)Strong Financial AcumenAwareness of the market environmentDelivering strategy & performanceDriving changeLeading peopleAttention to detailWorking with complexityManaging professionallyCustomer CentricCollaborating and cooperatingPackage Description:Remuneration and benefits will be commensurate with the seniority of the role and in compliance with company remuneration policy and practice.We welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates, but South African citizens will have a distinct advantage.If you are ready to take on this challenging and rewarding role, apply now and become a vital part of the G4S Secure Solutions South Africa team!
