Regional Manager Location: South EastContract Type: Full-time onsite / PermanentReporting to: Head of OperationsSector: Charitable / Not-for-ProfitSalary: €75,513 +Annual Leave: 27 days Overview of the Role The Regional Manager will oversee the delivery of education, training, and support services across the region on behalf of a charitable organisation committed to empowering individuals through high-quality, person-centred supports. This role ensures that services meet all educational, regulatory, and quality standards while contributing to the organisation’s mission and long-term strategic vision.The postholder will lead regional operations teams, manage key stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous improvement across services.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver sustainable services within agreed budgets, ensuring resources are managed efficiently and cost-effectively.Lead the annual business planning process for the region.Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), using data to evaluate performance and ensure Outcomes and Impact Measures agreed with funders are achieved.Support strategic planning and the development of new services aligned with the organisation’s five-year strategy.Develop and maintain key relationships with funders (including ETBs and CHO regions), managing SLAs/contracts and identifying opportunities for service expansion.Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and organisational policy.Support the implementation of the organisation’s Quality Assurance Strategy, ensuring adherence to regulatory bodies such as QQI, HIQA, and other funder requirements.Guide teams on safeguarding, Trust in Care, complaints, and related operational matters.Represent the organisation within local communities and with external stakeholders to promote services and strengthen relationships.Work closely with health and social care stakeholders to determine appropriate placements for individuals.Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, shared learning, and excellence in practice.Promote a results-driven approach across management teams and embed strong performance management practices.Ensure all organisational policies and procedures are followed and administrative processes are completed accurately.Support strategic projects, conduct investigations, and participate in disciplinary panels as required.Report key regional developments and operational matters to the Head of Operations.Promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect across the organisation.Perform any other duties reasonably associated with the role.Required Experience & QualificationsMinimum of 3 years’ experience in a regional management role.Third-level qualification in education, training, inclusion, healthcare, or another relevant field (Master’s degree desirable).Proven experience leading large-scale operational projects and delivering measurable business outcomes.Strong leadership skills with experience motivating and managing large, diverse teams.Evidence of leading strategic change in complex organisations.Experience developing and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including funders.Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget control, reporting, and analysis.Demonstrated alignment with the values and mission of a charitable or not-for-profit organisation.Proven ability to make effective, strategic decisions in challenging circumstances.Experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector is advantageous.If you meet the criteria and would like to register your interest please reach out to Anne Marie Nolan in Lex Consultancy today.
