Role The Regional Manager (Indian Subcontinent) role will be employed by Remote and based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The role will include providing services to the Student Recruitment department of Kaplan International Pathways (KIP) ANZ portfolio. This is a hands-on role that combines student recruitment, relationship management, and market development. You will be responsible for supporting and developing our partner agent network, generating new business, and ensuring the retention of existing business. A key aspect of the role is the delivery of exceptional customer service and strong collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.Responsibilities Implement Regional Engagement Strategy: - Support the Regional Director (Africa, Middle East, Central & South Asia) in executing a multi-channel engagement strategy to drive student recruitment and brand presence for Kaplan International Pathways ANZ in Bangladesh.Agent and Partner Relationship Management: - Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with education agents, university partners, sponsorship bodies, and industry stakeholders to maximise recruitment outcomes and collaboration opportunities.Market Intelligence and Reporting: - Provide regular reports on performance against KPIs, competitor activity, and market trends, offering insights to inform strategic decision-making.Customer Service and Stakeholder Support: - Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely responses to agent enquiries (within 48 business hours) and consistent communication across the network.Marketing and Promotion: - Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and evaluate market-specific campaigns and collateral, assess ROI from events and fairs, and ensure all engagement activities are aligned with strategic priorities.Training and Compliance: - Provide comprehensive training for agents and stakeholders, ensuring all recruitment activities comply with Department of Home Affairs and Immigration New Zealand regulations, and that all KIP ANZ products are well understood.Collaboration and Cross-Business Engagement: - Work closely with KI ANZ businesses and regional colleagues to identify synergies and drive joint initiatives that support business growth and enhance market performance.Travel and Representation: - Represent Kaplan across Bangladesh and the wider region, participating in exhibitions, seminars, and familiarisation tours (approximately 15–20 weeks per year), while maintaining a professional presence and ensuring maximum return from all engagement activities.RequirementsTertiary Qualification: - A university-level education, preferably in business, marketing, international relations, or a related field.International Education Expertise: - Extensive experience in international engagement or marketing within the Australia and New Zealand higher education sector, with a solid understanding of government regulatory and compliance frameworks.Agent Relationship Management: - Proven experience managing international education agent relationships to drive recruitment and market growth.Regional Knowledge and Experience: - Demonstrated experience travelling and working in Bangladesh, with strong cultural awareness and the ability to build partnerships in the region.Results-Driven and Self-Motivated: - A proactive, ambitious professional who thrives on achieving challenging targets and delivering measurable outcomes.Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across diverse audiences and senior stakeholders.Marketing and Strategic Insight: - Strong understanding of marketing tools and resources, and how to tailor them effectively for different markets and audiences.Organisational and Problem-Solving Abilities: - Exceptional planning, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to manage competing deadlines and work under pressure, including irregular hours and international travel.About usKaplan Australia is a division of Kaplan International (KI), one of the world’s leading providers of lifelong education.
