Regional Operations ManagerAbout the Company:Grove Point Marinas is a well-capitalized and rapidly growing marina management company dedicated to best-in-class processes, with standards that provide an unrivaled customer experience for our members.About the jobThe Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall success of the marinas in their portfolio. Oversight includes storage revenue, fuel sales, boat rentals, cabin/condo rentals, retail, and other related items which guide GMs in their decision-making process. This position will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting frequently with the Company’s founders, and report to the Director of OperationsThis is a remote/hybrid position that requires 30-40% travel.Candidates should be based in the eastern half of the US (ET or CT time zone) and near a major metro airport to facilitate travel to our portfolio of properties. Key Responsibilities1. OperationsDrive marina management culture consistent with company valuesOversee proper Rent Roll Updates and contract managementCollaborate with marina managers to prioritize projects and produce weekly financial reviewsIdentify areas of improvement and work with marina managers to execute improvementsDrive marina manager compliance with management operating procedures, including software adoptionLead the talent management, interview and hiring of new marina managersDevelop annual and ad-hoc forecasting and budgetsMaintain competitive market analysis for each marinaLeverage data for recommendations on market positioning and capital expendituresImplement safety programs and equipment line protection to safeguard equipment and staff2. ServiceMonitor service department KPIsDirect oversight of Service Technician hiring and retentionCreate/support training opportunities to expand skills across the service team3. Construction & Project ManagementLead contract negotiation and management on all major construction projectsAssist properties with ROI Analysis on all capital expenditure projectsAssist properties with Vendor ManagementCreate, manage, and track spend of Project Plans with properties4. SystemsAssist with standardizing marina operating and accounting systemsOversee data collection and prepWork with accounting team and property teams to validate dataOversee system implementations at properties5. GrowthIdentify areas to enhance marinas with additional offerings that generate revenue growthDrive EBITDAM initiatives through better efficiency and inventory managementDevelop and refine reporting tools and metrics to measure progressEducation, Skills and Experience:Strong presentation and facilitation skillsAbility to work independently to achieve goals and targets in a fast-paced environmentWorking in a team environment to achieve team, departmental, and company goalsAbility to effectively adjust to major changes in work tasks or the work environmentProficient in MOLO marina software, Wrike project management software, and Pipedrive CRM software is not required, but nice-to-haveProficient in Microsoft Office productsSkilled at building a cohesive team and facilitating goal accomplishment
