Their mission is to raise global standards by championing innovation and putting end users at the heart of quality and safety standards.Role & ResponsibilitiesAs the Regional Operations Director, you will report into senior leadership and hold full responsibility for operational delivery, team capability, cost optimisation, and customer satisfaction for the Morocco region. Your remit will span both strategic planning and hands-on execution with onsite client visits 1-2 times per weekYour responsibilities will include:Operational & Financial Performance- Full P&L ownership, ensuring contribution targets are met or exceeded- Drive profitability through cost control, structural changes, and automation- Streamline production and support cost-saving initiatives in underperforming areas- Strengthen and stabilise middle management structures to ensure sustainable growthEfficiency & Team Performance- Maximise team utilisation and efficiency across inspections and audits- Improve planning and scheduling through proactive training and automation- Embed centralised contract management and field team due diligence- Lead field force transformation from QC to QA to QE standards- Build and implement learning and qualification journeys for inspectors and auditors- Empower middle management to participate in customer meetings and reviewsCustomer Satisfaction & Delivery Quality- Reduce claims and complaints – maintain claims ratio below 0.2%- Lead kick-off meetings, training, and SOP validation for new client onboarding- Drive continuous improvement in field team deliverables and back-office coordinationTechnical Expertise & Innovation- Build an expert audit team aligned with sales and lab strategy- Develop technical expertise in key categories, supporting new service innovation- Launch solutions that address customer challenges in sourcing, compliance, and speed-to-market- Partner with technical leads to deliver customer-centric enhancementsThis is a rare opportunity to lead a global quality assurance operation in a pivotal region and play a key role in scaling capability, improving performance, and shaping customer impact.If you are an operational leader with a passion for quality and innovation – and you're ready to drive real transformation in a global context – we’d love to hear from you.QualificationsKey RequirementsWe are looking for a high-calibre, internationally minded operations leader with deep expertise in quality inspection and team performance management.Essential qualifications and experience:- Experience within Textile industry, or manufacturing textile industry- Proven experience in a senior quality inspection or operational leadership role within a multinational setting- Strong understanding of P&L ownership and cost control, with demonstrable success improving profitability and margin- In-depth knowledge of inspection and audit operations – including scheduling, due diligence, utilisation ratios, and customer delivery- Track record of team development – including field teams, middle management, and operational upskilling programmes- Deep domain knowledge in softlines or related industries (e.g. apparel, textiles, footwear)- Must be multicultural and understand the cultures of different countries- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in customer satisfaction, onboarding, and claims resolution- Ability to lead operational transformation, including automation, process optimisation, and systems implementation- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (advanced degree preferred)- Fluent English is required; French fluency highly preferred
