The OpportunityHitachi Energy is seeking candidates to work as a part of the Hub Marketing and Sales or Product Line in Power Transformers. The Regional Product Manager (RPM) will work directly with the Hub Marketing and Sales Manager for Power Transformer or eventually for the PT Product Line Manager and will report functionally to the Global Product Manager (GPM).As a Regional Product Manager, you will play a vital role in providing the Voice of the Customer in the region with structured proposals to Global Product Managers and lead the market introduction in the Regions and the implementation of the mid-long term strategy and competitiveness programs. You will be accountable for gathering the information about Market drivers, new products, applications and technical requirements and Competitors portfolio analysis. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will collaborate with BDMs, M&S, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Project/Contract management departments to ensure the seamless integration of products into the production line and meet customer requirements.How You´ll Make An ImpactProduct Definition and Market needs and StandardizationProvides input to Global Product Managers on MRS and business case for R&D initiativesProvides feedback to Global Product Managers on existing and new product performance.Leads the Market introduction of new products in coordination with Hub M&S, Hub Application Engineering. Create and adapt marketing information to the respective market/region based on the Market Introduction Plan and in alignment with the GPMs and GPMM.Identify co-creation/partnership opportunitiesMonitors the regional product requirements (changes in regulations, standards, legislations, …)Competitor benchmarking (market intelligence, new releases).Establish product standardization guidelines and protocols to ensure consistency and efficiency in manufacturing processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for component standardization, cost reduction, and process optimization.Define the key Market events in the region and supports the GPM and GPMM in the decision of attending those key events.Mid-Long-term strategy in the regionImplements global portfolio strategy into the regionMonitors Investments for regional offerings in alignment with Global Product Group strategy.Supports and drives ToT Transfer of Technology activities in the region according the GPG strategy Influence future designs / investments for regional offerings in alignment with Global Product Group strategy and Market needs. Support the Global Product Manager in the definition of the technical implications of the initiatives for the Global and Regional competitiveness programs.Competitiveness ProgramsDrives the implementation and business cases for DtV projects, Competitiveness Programs and new regional R&D initiatives.Enhances our Competitiveness and market knowledge.Quality Assurance and HSECollaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize product design for manufacturability and scalability.Provide guidance and support to manufacturing teams during the transition and ramp-up phases, addressing any product-related challenges or issues.Follows up the Regional GPG Quality KPIs and supports technically Quality in the RCA preparation and the corrective action plan elaboration.Follows up the GPG regional HSE KPIs and support the HSE programs implementation in the Region according the GPG and BU strategy.Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.Your Background– MSc or BSc Engineering degree.– Proven experience in product management, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.– Strong understanding of product development processes, manufacturing techniques, and quality standards.– Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet project milestones. Structured and analytical thinking.– Technical knowledge of the power transformers portfolio with international experience in different customers and product standards.
