This position is responsible for obtaining new, profitable corporate travel management accounts. Our agreements and service offerings are tailor-made and are the product of a unique consultative process involving collaboration with our talented and diverse internal and external partners over a multi-month sales cycle. About ten percent of your potential clients will come from provided lead sources, while the remaining prospects will come from your marketing, sourcing, and relationship building.As a Regional Sales Manager, you willEnhance BCD Travel’s portfolio by supporting new business developmentCreate strategic business plans for the acquisition of new business opportunitiesEstablish and maintain relationships with key prospects and existing client decision-makers at all levels within the client organizationDocument sales reports and make recommendations to help meet client objectivesNegotiate all client contract terms consistent with company approval processes and commercial policyOversee the implementation of new business, working closely with implementation teams to ensure client expectations are achieved About YouPrior experience in a remote or hybrid sales position at a corporate level is requiredComfortable working in a business development role that has a partial performance-based compensation planExtensive experience in the business travel industry preferred, with a successful networking historyProven ability to establish and maintain rapport with all levels of management, modify communication style for customers, and manage ongoing client relationships Adept at setting priorities, establishing goals and plans, and managing workloadExcellent communication skills: oral, written, and presentation in English and DanishAbility and willingness to travel domesticallyIn tune with competitor activity, industry trends and product developmentsProficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Salesforce, or similar CRM program skillset, preferredAbout UsWe’re a market leader in travel management: We help people and companies travel smart and achieve more, and our clients include some of the world’s best-known and most innovative business and consumer brands.
