We’re always looking towards the future, anticipating changes in medical science and technology.In Abbott’s Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) division, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.Position: Regional Sales Manager – CRMReporting into the NATIONAL SALES MANAGER, the Regional Sales Manager will:Be accountable for customer relationships and performance in the assigned territory, managing a team of 10+ sales representatives and FTEs to maximize revenue and profitable growth for Abbott, in collaboration with Market Access, Marketing, Education & Customer Program departments.Make key decisions around strategy and priorities for the assigned territory, including KOL management plans and corrective actions for underperforming situations.Maintain and extend deep and broad relationships with accounts, customers, and professionals within the medical community.Work closely with the FTE Supervisor to ensure optimal technical coverage and guarantee the best clinical support for complex procedures.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.Typically 10+ years of commercial experience in the CRM sector and EP, including both sales and coordination responsibilities.Proven experience influencing customers in a healthcare-related setting, ideally in the medical device industry; experience in cardiology or cardiac medical devices preferred.Strong knowledge of CRM sector dynamics.Experience in managing and coordinating commercial activities across at least two regions in Southern Italy.Aptitude to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices.Familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations, and procedures.Ability to collaborate with a wide variety of customers and colleagues, working with and directing others effectively by using behavioral styles and adapting communication.Strong negotiation and presentation skills.Willingness to travel 70% of the time.Geographies CoveredSouthern Italy: Campania, Calabria, MoliseWorking at AbbottAt Abbott, You Can Do Work That Matters And Help People To Live a Healthier And Full Life, Grow Your Career, And Learn, Be Your True Self.
