Job SummaryAs an Area Sales Manager in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributor and retailer relationships, and leading a team of sales representatives within a designated geographic area. Your mission is to maximize market penetration, achieve sales targets, and ensure brand visibility across channels.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and implement effective sales strategies to meet area targets.Forecast monthly and quarterly sales based on market trends and historical data.Monitor primary and secondary sales performance.Team LeadershipRecruit, train, and manage a team of sales executives.Set clear KPIs and provide regular coaching and performance feedback.Motivate the team to achieve individual and collective goals.Channel & Distribution ManagementManage relationships with distributors, super stockists, and retailers.Ensure optimal product availability and visibility in stores.Plan and execute trade promotions and merchandising activities.Market IntelligenceAnalyze competitor activities and market dynamics.Identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion.Provide insights to senior management for strategic planning.Reporting & ComplianceMaintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and team activities.Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management.Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.Qualifications : GraduationExperience :Min 10-15 years of experience in food & dairy division.Job Type: Full-timeSkills: management,business opportunities,sales
