Our client, Watersprint, is seeking a dynamic and driven Regional Sales Manager to spearhead their distribution sales efforts across the United States. Watersprint is a leading Swedish innovator in UVC LED systems for water disinfection. As their first hire in the US, you will have the opportunity to influence their US strategy and lead a growing team as they scale in the future. As Regional Sales Manager, you will play a key role in introducing their innovative water disinfection products to the market, with a primary focus on point-of-entry systems for residential use. There is a significant opportunity to grow in this niche market. You will be responsible for creating and implementing a detailed sales strategy targeting distributors and local water quality dealers. We are seeking an individual with a proven sales track record in the water treatment industry who can establish and maintain strong, lasting relationships with distributors. To succeed in this role, you need to be a team player with a hands-on approach and an entrepreneurial mindset. This is a remote position, ideally based in the mid-Atlantic region, with up to 60-70% of travel, primarily in North America, and occasional travel to Sweden. You will report directly to the CEO based in Sweden. Your responsibilities include:Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market presence across the USIdentify and engage with potential distributors and local water quality dealers to establish strong business relationshipsEducate and train distributors and dealers on the benefits and features of Watersprint’s UVC LED water disinfection systemsAttend and actively participate in trade shows and industry events across the US to promote Watersprint’s solutions and connect with potential partnersConduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and competitor activitiesCollaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the US marketProvide regular sales reports and updates to the management teamWhat We Expect From YouYour Work Experience, Education & SkillsBachelor’s degree, preferably in engineeringMin. 5 years of sales within the water treatment industry, ideally with point-of-entry systemsStrong understanding of the residential water treatment market and distribution channelsProven ability to develop strategic business plans and successfully execute themComfortable making outbound calls and building a sales pipeline from scratchAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentComfortable working in a scale-up environmentExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsAbility to establish and nurture long-lasting relationshipsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business softwareExperience building and managing sales teams is highly desirableExperience working within an international organization is a big plusWhat We Offer is More than Just a Job….An opportunity to be part of a truly innovative company in the water disinfection industryProfessional development and growth opportunitiesWatersprint’s culture is shaped by Swedish principles, where balance and well-being are considered essential for long-term successCompetitive compensation package and benefits
