Job Description

The Regional Security Manager is responsible for overseeing security, safety, and loss prevention operations across multiple regions, ensuring the protection of people, assets, and the company’s reputation. The role leads Regional Security Assistant Managers in managing the day-to-day security functions, ensuring consistent implementation of security policies, compliance with legal and internal standards, and effective collaboration with Operations and other functions. The position also provides proactive and practical security solutions to enable early detection and prevention of losses, fraud, and other security risks from internal and external sources. Key Accountabilities:Security Operations and ManagementLead and oversee security operations across all assigned regions through Regional Security Assistant Managers.Develop, review, and update security policies, procedures, emergency response plans, and tailored security plans for various store environments within the assigned regions.Oversee the implementation of security policies and standards, ensuring alignment and consistency across all stores and facilities.Manage and control the overall security performance of assigned regions, ensuring operational effectiveness and compliance.Propose security-related recommendations on budgeting, investments, and new initiatives to strengthen overall security performance.Stay updated on emerging security technologies, methods, and equipment to continuously improve operational efficiency and security standards across all stores.Provide security support to business units and allocate resources efficiently to optimize security operations across all locations.Incident & Safety ManagementDirect and support Regional Security Assistant Managers in managing major incidents (e.g., theft, robbery, fire, fraud).Lead investigations and root cause analyses for significant cases, ensuring timely escalation to the Branch Director and relevant stakeholders.Oversee workplace safety, fire prevention, and evacuation training across stores and company facilities.Lead the setup of security equipment and systems (e.g., CCTV, EAS, access control) for new business units, including advising on security and safety measures, overseeing installation, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.Arrange and manage security escorts, money transfers, and protection for personnel and assets as needed.Coordinate with Operations teams and local authorities to ensure effective response and resolution of critical incidents. Provide regular reports and insights to the Hanoi Branch Director on risk trends, case resolutions, and preventive actions.Security Training and DevelopmentDevelop training guidelines and provide coaching to Regional Security Assistant Managers and their teams to strengthen capability and operational discipline.Set clear learning objectives and ensure effective execution of training and certification plans across regions.Evaluate and review the quality and effectiveness of security services and training monthly, implementing improvement actions as required.Drive security-related training for Store Operations on loss prevention, cash handling, and emergency preparedness.Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and service excellence within the security department.Stakeholder ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for all security-related inquiries from Store Operations and other functions, addressing cross-departmental issues related to safety, fraud, and loss prevention.Build and maintain relationships with government agencies and local authorities to facilitate cooperation on security and emergency matters.Coordinate broader emergency response and crisis management efforts with relevant internal and external stakeholders. Job Requirements:Education/ Training Qualifications University degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field.General professional security skills certificate, or international security skills certificate is a plus.First-aid, fire-fighting, professional security certificate.Martial-art skill: Black belt. Karate, traditional and fitness fighting – all sects certificates.Experience 03+ years of experience in security management or a similar position, preferably in the retail or hospitality industryProven track record in developing and implementing comprehensive security plans.Experience in managing a security team and overseeing security operations across multiple locations.Knowledge of:Thorough understanding of security best practices, safety management, and loss prevention techniques (office, factory, events, F&B service, consulates, escort VIP/ money, banking, etc.) First-aid, fire-prevention, professional security.Proficiency in security equipment setup such as CCTV, EAS (Electronic Article Surveillance), Access control, Automatic fire alarm system, etc.Knowledge of safety and security assessments.Familiarity with fire safety and evacuation procedures.Skills (Ability to):Flexibility and problem-solving skillsHonest, sincerity, self –discipline, cooperation, open–mindedness.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.Ability to lead and motivate a security team.Attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.Customer-oriented approach.Fluent in English is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Working hours: 8 hours/ day with 5 days/ week or flexibility time. Other special requirements (if any):Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
