For more information, visit www.griffithfoods.com.Financial Strategy & PlanningDevelop and implement financial strategies that align with regional and organizational supply chain goals.Collaborate with manufacturing plant leaders to create budgets and forecasts tailored to each plant’s operational requirements.Support long-term strategic planning by analyzing trends in production costs, inventory management, and supply chain expenses.Performance Monitoring & ReportingMonitor key financial metrics across all manufacturing plants, such as cost efficiency, production variances, and margin performance.Prepare consolidated financial reports for the region, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to senior leadership.Analyze deviations from planned budgets and provide recommendations for corrective actions.Operational PartnershipWork closely with plant managers and supply chain teams to align financial decisions with operational objectives (e.g., production schedules, resource allocation, and inventory optimization).Serve as a financial advisor to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and support cost-saving initiatives.Expense Management & OptimizationOversee regional expense controls, ensuring all plants adhere to financial targets without compromising performance.Identify opportunities to optimize costs through process improvements, supplier negotiations, and waste reduction.Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals located at each manufacturing plant, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.Provide guidance and training to direct reports, helping them improve analytical skills and align their work with regional priorities.Risk Management & ComplianceEnsure financial practices meet regulatory standards and internal policies across all plants in the region.Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with supply chain operations, such as fluctuating material costs or disruptions.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with procurement, logistics, and production teams to align supply chain strategies with financial goals.Facilitate communication between plant finance teams and regional or corporate leadership, ensuring smooth information flow.We are looking for a strong analytical and numerical mind who is confident to work with complex and big amounts of data. You can communicate efficiently with senior management. You possess a can-do attitude with a positive forward-looking mind-set and the ability to navigate through ambiguity and to challenge the status-quo.Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Operations, or a similar subject.10+ years solid track record in Supply Chain / Manufacturing Finance, including mandatory a plant controlling role.Solid knowledge of cost accounting.Concrete experience in KPI’s implementation and productivity improvement.Ability to work, influence and drive inside a matrix environment.Independent, structured, and have a continuous improvement mindset.Previous involvement in an ERP implementation is an asset.Fluency in English is mandatory.Willingness to travel regularly +-25% of the time.Talented as you are, you can handle multiple assignments because you are organized, flexible and stress resistant.To enhance organizational effectiveness, you are a team player who works cooperatively with others and finally a problem solver who identifies causes of problem situations and recommends solutions.Accounting Qualification like CIMA, CMA, ACCA will be a plus.
