MANAGER REGIONAL SUPPLY CHAINMain Responsability:Reporting to Director of Supply Chain.The goal of this position is to oversee and enhance the global Supply Chain strategy for the assigned Regio, ensuring efficient performance, processes, and guidelines. Additionally, it involves leading coordination efforts during supply chain disruptions, managing inventory and budget planning, and optimizing logistics and freight contracts to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.Manage and coordinate the regional organization's logistics and supply chain function, including acquisition, warehousing, materials management, and distribution, to meet business requirements.Responsability Description:Fully functional responsibility for Supply Chain strategy implementation on the region, performance, processes and guidelinesLead in coordination and task-force activities in case of supply chain interruptions and short-item managementResponsible for inventory tracking, improvement and budget planning (inventory planning during budget process incl. DIH improvement targets)Continuous Improvement in area of Supply ChainDevelopment and implementation standard tools in Supply Chain area (Sales and Operational Planning, Stock Segmentation, Production Levelling)Supply Chain Management: Make sure a portfolio of suppliers are delivering required levels of services.Strategy Formation and Implementation: Develop tactical plans for optimizing resources and assets being managed within a given area or department.Supply Planning: Execute planning activities for one or two manufacturing/distribution units with dependencies on other processes/units/suppliers. Provide input to the overall supply planning framework and systems.Supplier Management: Monitor, review, and highlight any gaps in the performance of a portfolio of suppliers to recommend and ensure delivery of improvements by suppliers or to renegotiate or change contract/supplier.Continuous Improvement: Review existing operations in a major area of work and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure the required continuous improvement outcomes are delivered.Leadership and Direction: Communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision, and values; motivate people to commit to these and to do extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.Performance Management: Manage and report on the performance of a substantial, diverse team; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports or project/account team members and hold individuals accountable for achieving them; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team/personal objectives.Budgeting: Develop and/or deliver budget plans with guidance from senior colleagues.Organizational Capability Building: Use the organization's formal development framework to identify the team's individual development needs. Plan and implement actions, including continuing professional development specified by professional or regulatory institutions, to build their professional capabilities. (Over 6 years to 10 years). Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers (Over 3 years to 6 years). Essential experience in the automotive industry.
