Until phase 1 of campus construction is completed in Fall 2026, we are located at Crescent Plaza, Tan Phu, in Ho Chi Minh City (District 7).About the RoleThe Registrar serves as the strategic and operational leader of the Office of the Registrar, overseeing all aspects of academic records, registration, reporting and student information systems. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of student data while driving continuous improvement in enrollment processes and systems. As a key member of the academic leadership team, the Registrar collaborates closely with faculty, academic affairs, student services, and institutional stakeholders to support the university’s academic mission. The Registrar provides visionary leadership in policy development, system implementation, and service delivery, fostering a culture of excellence, compliance, and innovation within the Registrar’s Office.Reporting LinesSolid reports to: Dean of Undergraduate StudiesDotted-line reports to: N/AList by title positions which report directly to this position: Associate RegistrarRoles and ResponsibilitiesThe roles and responsibilities of the Registrar includes but is not limited to:Strategic Leadership and Policy DevelopmentProvide visionary leadership for the Office of the Registrar, aligning operations with institutional priorities and academic strategy.Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of academic policies and procedures in collaboration with faculty and academic leadership.Serve as a key advisor on academic regulations, student records, and compliance with accreditation and government reporting requirements.Student Services and Academic Operations: Collaborate with faculty and academic leadership to develop and implement academic policies tailored to student needs and the unique nature of Fulbright’s academic programs.Oversee student enrollment, registration, course scheduling to ensure a seamless academic experience. Work with the Deans for longer term course planning. Manage the degree audit process and verify graduation eligibility.In conjunction with the Deans, Academic Affairs, and Student Affairs to publish and maintain the academic calendar and course schedules per term. Monitor student records for compliance with academic regulations and graduation requirements.Supervise the process of transcript and enrollment verification.Oversee the transfer credit applications, routing, and posting process.Participate in faculty and other internal administrative committees. Student Systems (SIS) Management and Data Integrity: Lead the development and implementation of student information systems for student information tracking, course scheduling, and learning experiences.Maintain and enhance systems for student records to ensure compliance with academic regulations and programs requirements for graduation. Ensure accurate and secure management of student records, grades, and syllabi.Develop and maintain the Registrar’s Office portal, including relevant forms and documents.Set up and implement the degree audit system. Oversee student data collection, analysis, and reporting to support institutional planning and decision-making. Collaboration and Team Development Build and lead a high-performing team within the Registrar’s Office, fostering professional growth and accountability.Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to enhance student services and operational efficiency.Participate in institutional committees and initiatives to support cross-functional goals and student successOther duties:Contributing to team effort by welcoming new and different work requirements; exploring new opportunities to enhance the services of the department; helping others accomplish related job results as and where needed; and perform other duties as assigned.What we look forEducation: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in education administration, information systems, or related field preferred.Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in student systems management, registrar services or academic administration, with leadership responsibilitiesKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong knowledge of academic policies, student information systems, and data governance. Proven ability to manage complex systems and lead organizational changes. Excellent communication, analytics, and interpersonal skills. High integrity and commitment to student-centered services and continuous improvement.
