Regulations Enforcement Officer - City of Kelowna Dispatch

Commissionaires BC is currently looking for an experienced guard to join our onsite operations team working with the City of Kelowna!As a Security Guard with Commissionaires BC in Kelowna, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of City of Kelowna properties, facilities, and assets. This role involves patrolling assigned areas, monitoring security systems, and responding to incidents to ensure a safe environment for employees, visitors, and the public.Schedule: Sat & Sun 7:00am - 3:00pm Pay: $24.75/hrYour Must-Haves: A valid BC Security LicenseAdvanced Security Training (AST) Certificate, or willingness to obtainYou have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer service environmentPrevious experience monitoring multiple CCTV cameras simultaneouslyYou have excellent verbal and written communication skillsYou have proven time-management and organizational skillsSome of your responsibilities will include:Monitor CCTV cameras and fire/alarm systems and reporting any suspicious activityTake incoming calls from the public, police and/or employees in a timely manner Maintaining a detailed log after the end of each shiftProducing ad hoc reports as required by various departmentsConducting follow-up reviews with clients to ensure client satisfaction Any other ad-hoc duties may be assigned to you in your roleWhat’s in it for you?
