Our client is an established mid-size specialty chemical manufacturer with multiple U.S. locations and a collaborative, innovation-driven, safety-first culture known for long employee tenure and continuous learning.About This OpportunityAs Manager, Regulatory Business Partner, you'll join a newly created global Business Compliance team at its foundation. You'll serve as the primary regulatory liaison for the Americas, translating complex chemical regulations into actionable business decisions. This role bridges Regulatory Affairs and Business Units, ensuring real-time compliance support while helping establish department processes and standards.What You'll DoInterpret and communicate complex chemical regulations (TSCA, EPA, REACH, GHS/CLP, PFAS, transport regulations) to business stakeholders across multiple product linesManage regulatory compliance projects for Circuit Board Assembly (CBA) and related product portfolios in the Americas regionCoordinate cross-functional teams to perform regulatory assessments and impact analyses on productsDrive preparation of compliance documentation including Certificates of Conformance (COC), Certificates of Substance (COS), and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)Monitor regulatory updates and conduct surveillance for business-specific end-use regulationsConsolidate regional compliance information and provide input to global regulatory strategyCollaborate with R&D, product management, and business teams to ensure timely regulatory deliverablesParticipate in establishing compliance workflows, documentation standards, and timeline management processesRequired QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Polymer Science (not Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or other biological sciences)2-3+ years regulatory or product stewardship experience in chemical manufacturing (candidates with Master's degrees may have 1-2 years minimum)Working knowledge of U.S. chemical regulations (TSCA, EPA compliance frameworks)Familiarity with at least one additional global regulatory system (EU REACH, GHS/CLP, transport regulations, or PFAS)Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-regional collaborationIndependent, self-driven work style with excellent organizational abilitiesAuthorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipPreferred QualificationsExperience with project management, scheduling, and compliance workflow developmentExposure to electronic materials, coatings, or semiconductor-related manufacturingKnowledge of Safety Data Sheet (SDS) preparation and interpretationWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary ($105,000-$120,000 depending on experience), discretionary annual performance bonus, comprehensive benefits from Day 1, 401k with company matching, and 9 holidays. This hybrid role offers flexibility with 1-2 days per week onsite at one of three East Coast locations (Waterbury, CT preferred; other Connecticut offices or Piscataway, NJ also available).
