The successful candidate will join the Regulatory Interaction and Change team, playing a vital part in managing relationships with the FCA and ensuring regulatory obligations are met across the business.You’ll be involved in preparing regulatory submissions, overseeing data and returns, and supporting licensing and regulatory change initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone with a couple of years’ experience in financial services compliance who is ready to take on a broader, more dynamic role.What you'll be doingPreparing regulatory applications including SM&CR approvals and variations of permissionsCoordinating and submitting regulatory returns, data and attestations across UK broking entitiesSupporting the maintenance and renewal of overseas licencesAssisting with FCA information requests through collation and assessment of relevant dataReviewing and analysing regulatory data for accuracy and completenessLiaising with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate regulatory submissionsMonitoring regulatory developments and supporting change initiativesUsing FCA systems such as Connect and RegData for submissions and updatesSupporting the Regulatory Interaction and Change team with ad hoc compliance projectsEnsuring documentation and records are maintained in line with regulatory expectationsWho we're looking forApproximately 2 years’ experience in a compliance role within financial servicesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in data handlingA quick learner who thrives on new challengesExperience in analysing and interpreting dataExposure to FCA regulatory requirements and processesComfortable managing multiple stakeholders, ideally including senior managersA self-starter who can work independently with appropriate supportProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordExperience in insurance sectors such as retail, commercial or London Market (desirable)Familiarity with international licensing applications and financial reporting (desirable)QualificationsRelevant compliance or insurance qualifications (desirable but not essential)Training or experience using FCA systems such as Connect and RegDataWhat do we offer in return?A career that you define.
