Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerform accounting closing (monthly, quarterly, yearly)Manage internal retro transactions - monthly US closing and reconciliation, preparation of quarterly Barbados settlement, communication, and intercompany audit requirementCalculate risks (interest, FX, credit, operation, etc.
) and check credit rating to prepare for K-ICS FSS reportsResponse to external auditor for year-end closingResponsible for investment accounting and management – updating and booking monthly investment transactions such as amortization and fair value measurement of debt instrumentsManage general accounting, general ledger accounts, suspense account, reconciliation sheet by each account in a timely mannerCommunicate and manage as the FSS Central Point of Contact (CPC) channelPerform daily, monthly and quarterly reporting to government agency (BOK, FSS)Manage banking and treasury transactions and relationshipsAssist finance and accounting manager with a variety of accounting support activitiesRequirementsMinimum 5 years of accounting work experience including cash disbursementsPositive & proactive team workerDependable with impeccable integrity and character to handle confidential informationHighly motivated and well organizedGood communication skills and interpersonal skills (Korean communication is required)Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Good Excel skill is a must)Detailed oriented and ability to work independentlyFSS reporting related experience such as monthly and quarterly reporting is preferredWhat you can expect from RGAGain valuable knowledge from and experience with diverse, caring colleagues around the world.
