A Reinsurance Manager oversees and manages an organization's reinsurance program, ensuring efficient risk transfer and compliance, while also managing relationships with reinsurers.Reinsurance Program ManagementDevelop and implement reinsurance strategies aligned with the company's risk appetite and financial goals.Negotiate and secure reinsurance treaties and facultative agreements.Monitor and manage reinsurance programs, including premium payments, claim recoveries, and reinsurance accounts.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Manage and maintain relationships with reinsurers and reinsurance brokers.Risk ManagementIdentify, assess, and manage risks related to reinsurance activities, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.Develop and implement risk management frameworks and procedures.Monitor and report on reinsurance performance and risk exposures.Financial ManagementPrepare and review reinsurance budgets and forecasts.Monitor and analyze reinsurance profitability.Ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting of reinsurance transactions.Team Leadership (if Applicable)Supervise and mentor reinsurance staff, providing guidance and support.Develop and implement training programs for reinsurance staff.Evaluate and manage the performance of reinsurance staff.Other ResponsibilitiesParticipate in internal and external audits.Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting, claims, and finance.Stay abreast of industry trends and developments.With more than 2 years work experience in handling Reinsurance
