Job Title: Relationship Manager, the MaritimesLocation: Remote (based in Eastern Canada)Job Type: Full-timeJob Summary:Bank of China (Canada) is seeking a seasoned Relationship Manager to lead business development and client relationship management efforts across the Maritimes. This role is ideal for a high-performing banker with deep connections in the region’s commercial and corporate banking sectors, strong credit skills, and a strategic mindset to drive sustainable growth.What You Will Do:Originate and manage National Accounts, corporate, and commercial client relationshipsDrive the development and delivery of credit and non-credit banking solutionsConduct detailed credit due diligence, manage disbursement, and oversee post-lending reviewsMaintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, industry players, and partner banksAct as a local champion for the Bank’s brand, strategic goals, and risk management practicesLeverage market knowledge to identify growth opportunities and portfolio expansionSupport loan syndications, project financing, and cross-border transaction structuringEnsure strict compliance with regulatory and internal credit risk and operational policiesWhat You Bring to the Table:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics5+ years of commercial or corporate banking experience with large enterprises (revenue ≥ C$500MM)Deep familiarity with the Maritimes market, key industries, and regional clientsExpertise in project finance, loan syndication, and credit underwritingProven ability to build and manage senior-level relationshipsHigh level of professionalism, ethics, and independent judgmentStrong communication and presentation skills Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platformsThis is a remote role with regular business travel and in-person reporting once per monthBank of China (Canada) is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where diversity is valued.
