Position: Relationship Manager – High Net Worth / Affluent PortfolioType: Full-timeKey ResponsibilitiesBuild, manage and grow a portfolio of HNWI / affluent individual clients.Serve as the lead advisor for clients: understand each client’s financial goals, risk appetite, insurance and investment needs, and propose tailored solutions (insurance, wealth & asset protection, investment-linked products, etc.).Acquire new HNWI clients via networking, referrals, events, business development and partnerships.Cross-sell and up-sell the full suite of products and services: insurance (life, health, critical illness, asset protection), investment-linked products, wealth-planning solutions, estate planning liaison, etc.Collaborate with internal teams (product specialists, underwriting, investment advisory, risk & compliance) to deliver holistic service to clients.Monitor client portfolios and relationships: ensure service quality, review client needs periodically, maintain high client satisfaction and retention.Meet defined targets for new business (assets under management / premiums) and for servicing existing clients (renewals, client referrals, wallet share).Ensure all client interactions comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements (e.g., data privacy, anti-money-laundering, suitability).Represent the company in client-events, seminars, private-client gatherings and networking forums relevant to the HNWI segment.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree (preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent). Post-graduate or professional qualification (e.g., CFA, CFP) is a plus.Proven experience (typically 5 + years) in private banking, wealth management, high-net-worth relationship management, sales to affluent clients or similar.Demonstrated track-record of acquiring and servicing HNWI or affluent clients; familiar with their expectations and dynamics.Strong knowledge of insurance products (life, health, critical illness, wealth-linked), investment products, and financial markets.Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills — able to engage with sophisticated clients, build trust and manage expectations.Sales-oriented mindset but also focused on advisory, service quality and long-term client relationships.Ability to work independently, be proactive, network extensively, and manage a portfolio of clients.Strong ethics, discretion and confidentiality (given the sensitive nature of HNWI relationships).Familiarity with regulatory environment in the Philippines (insurance regulation, investment laws, AML/KYC) is an advantage.Competencies & AttributesClient-centric, service excellence focus.Business development / “hunter” mindset for new client acquisition.Ability to manage complexity: clients may have multi-faceted needs (investments, tax/estate liaising, cross-border considerations, etc.).Networking skills: capable of attending events, building relationships with referral sources (legal, tax, real-estate, family offices).Analytical mindset: able to understand client’s overall financial profile, risk profile, propose appropriate strategies.Team collaboration: though individual portfolio, must work closely with product, service and support teams.Integrity and regulatory compliance mindset.
