RELAY PROTECTION & AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Education And Work ExperienceHigher education (University degree or higher) in Automation and Control sphere and not less than 3 years of work experience as Relay Protection and Automation EngineerMain FunctionsEnsure effective operation, inspection and maintenance of Electrical Power Protection and Management Systems and/or its components in compliance with safety, reliability, efficiency and quality requirementsElectrical Power Protection- and Management Systems including but not limited to Protection relays, CTs, VTs, secondary and primary circuits, HV/LV protection system, Overload Protection, accessories including RTU (Remote Terminal Units)\Provide support in ensuring correct operation, inspection and maintenance as well as upgrading of Electrical Power Protection and Management Systems. Participate in development of inspection and preventive maintenance schedules, estimate human resources and define implementation dates of planned activities. Assist in raising purchase requisitions for equipment, materials, spare parts which required for Electrical Power Protection and Management Systems for safe asset operation. Provide technical data reports, schedules and presentations to Lead Relay Protection and Automation Engineer. Control over the compliance with electrical equipment operating instructions, inspection & maintenance and supervision and provide his comments (if any) to Lead Relay Protection and Automation Engineer. Participate in preparation and implementation of maintenance plan as per equipment manuals, procedures, instructions and technical specifications as well as their operational processes for Electrical Power Protection and Management Systems. Visit the facilities / units and maintain the protection requirement to protect equipment by implement inspection and maintenance scope. Review the inspections reports, protocol and assist organization of corrective maintenance. Review the Asset Register of Electrical Power Protection and Management Systems in regular base with support to Lead Relay Protection and Automation Engineer to implement appropriate changes in CMMS. Provide the technical documentation for operation, inspection and maintenance of Electrical Power Protection and Management Systems to Lead Relay Protection and Automation Engineer Assist in implementation or improvement of Electrical Power Protection and Management Systems Maintenance strategy. Maintain records and investigations of accidents and breakdowns, analyse their causes, participate in drafting of relevant acts and development of measures to prevent and eliminate accidents and breakdowns of Electrical equipment. Participate in ensuring the compliance with the current industrial safety and labour protection rules, regulations, instructions in the process of mounting, operation and repair of Electrical Power Protection and Management Systems Maintenance. Review the setting and provide comments (if any) to Lead Relay Protection and Automation Engineer in acceptance of new Electrical Power Protection and Management Systems subject to verification of compliance with industrial safety and labour protection regulations.
