By leveraging internal and external technologies, the team empowers stakeholders to efficiently develop and release software solutions.Partner with the bestAs a Release Engineer, coordinate cross-functional initiatives and transform engineering efforts into practical solutions. Utilize organizational skills to manage responsibilities effectively, ensuring seamless execution of tasks. Approach work with autonomy while maintaining focus on delivering results and driving impactful outcomes.As a Release Engineer, You Will Be Responsible ForProviding support to distributed teams globally with build systems, including administration, troubleshooting, and Jira management.Maintaining and monitoring software builds in a Jenkins CI/CD environmentEnforcing SDLC and build/release processes with various stakeholders.Planning and maintaining the release calendarCommunicating with stakeholders about progress, roadblocks, and timelinesDo What You LoveTo be successful in this role you will:Bring 3+ of relevant experience and equivalent educational background or comparable professional expertise.Facilitate effectively with exceptional communication skills, coordinating and planning activities across various teams.Have good organisational skills and be detail-oriented.Have knowledge on project/release management tracking tools such as JIRA/ Confluence.Be familiar with CI/CD and version control systems such as Jenkins, Git and Perforce.Be comfortable working in a Linux/Unix environment.Have basic knowledge on scripting languages such as Python & Shell.Be a good team player that enjoys collaborating and solving problems with others.Build your career at AkamaiOur ability to shape digital life today relies on developing exceptional people like you.
