Job Description

Location:  DTU Lyngby & ReliBond, Roskilde | Working Hours:  7. 5–15 hrs/week | Pay:  196 DKK/hr (BSc), 212 DKK/hr (MSc) per IDA guidelinesReliBond ApS is looking for a dedicated student assistant to support experimental work in materials science and testing of high-voltage (HV) cable connectors using advanced 3D metal printing (cold spray) technology. This role offers hands-on experience in both academic and industrial R&D environments. Key Responsibilities (Materials Focus):

Metallurgical sample preparation and microscopy (optical and SEM)Mechanical testing (tensile, thermal cycling, lifetime testing)Test documentation according to CIGRE standardsMetal powder handling and process developmentData analysis using ImageJ and MATLABMethod development for image-based evaluationOptional Tasks (Mechanical Design, if relevant): Test stand setup and maintenanceFacility upgrades and technical drawingsComponent and fixture design (CAD-based)Qualifications: Enrolled in a BSc or MSc programme at DTU (e. g. Materials & Manufacturing, Mechanical, Chemical, or General Engineering)Willing to commit for a minimum of 1. 5 yearsStructured, detail-oriented, and self-motivatedComfortable working independently and as part of a teamPreferred Experience:
