comThe RoleThe role is responsible for delivering high-quality ICT support and customer service across different campuses, ensuring reliable operation and maintenance of infrastructure, including networks, endpoints, and communication systems. Roles And Responsibilities Provide a high level of customer service, both internally and externally. Conduct regular preventative and corrective maintenance of all ICT infrastructure including end points, network hardware, phone and all other communication equipment. Assist the ICT Manager to ensure ICT services meet staff requirements and work with the local ICT staff or service providers to improve services and correct issues as they arise.
Monitoring of backup cycles for Samoa Fiji campus, and other countries as requested. Monitor firewalls, other security applications to ensure that SPAM, other undesirable information, and network intrusions are adequately blocked. Identify and mitigate any critical risks to the business to ensure that Data Integrity is not adversely affected. Collaborating with Regional Head Office (RHO) ICT team to co-share the Helpdesk Management System which includes ticket assignment, escalations, compliance to service level agreements and reporting. Performing server patching and maintenance as required by the RHO ICT Team.
Selection CriteriaEssential Experience And Knowledge A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar ICT role with demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a small and dedicated team. Preferably diploma level qualification or higher in related field or post-secondary qualification and demonstrated experience in related field. Experience working with VMware and Microsoft Active Directory; Veeam backup and replication, ESET, Microsoft Intune, Deep Freeze and an understanding of Fortinet and Meraki technologies. Experience providing Level 1 to Level 2 ICT support in an organization. Experience providing ICT support in remote locations.
Proven ability to exercise sound judgement in the application of existing policies and procedures.
