Remanufacturing Technician - Tilburg

What To ExpectThe Remanufacturing-team in the Tilburg Factory is responsible for testing and analyzing non-functional components which are originating from both vehicles and energy products (this includes high voltage batteries and electric motors). The Remanufacturing technician will be exposed to Tesla’s cutting edge technology and is responsible to perform repairs on these components by following provided process instructions and follow herein schematics and flow charts.Together with the engineers of the department, you are going to identify new failure modes, implement corrective/preventive actions and help develop new repair instructions. In this role you will use precision measurement devices, hand tools and computer-based electrical test equipment.The Remanufacturing Technician works in a team and reports to the Supervisor.What You'll DoBe able to achieve desired output at station within Takt; escalate when not possibleStrictly adheres to Manufacturing Instructions to perform their job; highlight any discrepanciesCapable of performing pre-use checklist for workstation(s) or tasksAble to perform autonomous maintenance for the workstationAble to perform and sustain 5S at their workstation(s)Completes a minimum of 1 Take Charge per quarterCapable of detecting abnormalities in their process and escalates to Sr. or Lead TechnicianWhat You'll BringBasic understanding of safety around the factory and as it applies to their job functionPerforms Level 1 jobs independently within Takt after certificationStrong communication to explain processes and any issues that arisePerforms autonomous maintenance for workstations assignedAble to use manufacturing systems according to written manufacturing instructionsUnderstands basic electricity and how it relates to their workstation and job functionsAbility to adhere to all ESD proceduresThe role requires some heavy lifting on occasion, which is reduced as much as possible in line with Arbo rules and regulations
