Job Title: Remote Trainee HR AdministratorLocation: Remote (Work from Home)Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / InternshipJob Purpose:The Remote Trainee HR Administrator will provide virtual support to the HR team in managing daily HR operations and maintaining employee records. This role is designed for individuals starting their HR career and offers hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, and general HR administration — all within a remote working environment.Key Responsibilities:Support the HR team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records in digital HR systems.Assist in remote recruitment activities, including job postings, screening CVs, and scheduling virtual interviews.Help prepare and send digital onboarding documents and coordinate virtual induction sessions for new hires.Draft HR correspondence such as offer letters, reference letters, and employment confirmations.Track employee attendance, leave requests, and training participation using online tools.Organize HR files and maintain electronic filing systems (e.g., Google Drive, SharePoint).Provide administrative support for remote employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.Assist in collecting and analyzing HR data for reports and audits.Respond to basic HR inquiries via email, chat, or video call and escalate complex queries when needed.Contribute ideas to improve remote HR workflows and communication.Skills and Competencies:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High level of digital literacy and familiarity with remote working tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack).Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping habits.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Discreet and professional when handling confidential information.Eagerness to learn about HR practices and employment legislation.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s degree (or currently studying) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field.Previous administrative or remote working experience is a plus but not required.Learning & Development Opportunities:Gain practical experience in remote HR administration and digital HR tools.Learn key HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.Receive mentorship from HR professionals and participate in online HR training sessions.Opportunity for future progression into a permanent HR Administrator or HR Assistant role.
