The purpose of this role is to support with day to day operational finance responsibilities as well as providing a platform to develop your skills in reporting, compliance and business management reporting. The business is at a transformational stage so exposure to the development of processes, specifically those at transactional level will be highly regarded.
In the short-medium term there will also be the opportunity to develop and further your skills in Business Partnering and providing the Finance Manager with a strong level of support. This is an organisation which is in significant growth mode, therefore, a passion for business improvement will be critical for success in this role. Responsibilities Operational Finance Support - Processing of Accounts Payable Invoices and Reporting on Accounts Receivable transactions.
Bank and Balance Sheet reconciliationsFinancial Control - Assist with preparation of BAS and GST settlementsProcess Improvement and Automation - Support the Finance Manager by identifying potential improvements and automating operational finance tasksAdministration Support - General Finance administrative servicesBusiness Performance - Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities Candidate Profile Being either a CPA or CA partly qualified you are currently likely sitting in either an existing Assistant Accountant role or an Accounts Assistant role looking to make a step up.
You have a minimum of 2 years experience, ideally developed in industry and are seeking to develop the next stage of your career in a fast-paced organisation that will invest in your growth and fast track your progression.
