As data rate requirements increase and devices and systems shrink, Ardent’s products deliver superior signal integrity in a dense footprint that can be reusable across programs to maximize cost savings.ResponsibilitiesThe Repair Technician will operate within the Service Department to offer superior customer service to our existing customers. Work to coordinate timely evaluations and repairs of failing product and warranty items to ensure minimum downtime of the customer; this will involve working with the Sales support staff to resolve technical customer issues.Test and inspect products or subassemblies for functionality and qualityRepair and replace failing customer items in a timely manner, troubleshoot as necessaryDocument findings and create reports on these findingsCoordinate returns internally and with the customerWork, communicate, and coordinate with Production Team on high volume and/or complex repairsAdhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental complianceOther tasks as assigned by supervisorQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent with 1- 2 years’ experience in manufacturing industry preferredExperience in a technician role working under a microscope with small components, using tweezers and vacuum pens is requiredSoldering experience is preferredHigh level of hand/eye coordination, Fine motor skills, Physical agilityAbility to perform mathematical calculationsExperience reading manufacturing and assembly drawingsMust be organized, with strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a team environment and independentlyMicrosoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint requiredAbility to lift and or move up to 25lbsAmphenol Corporation is proud of our reputation as an excellent employer.
